BOWLS
The models created over a period of about two years are various and have a wide range of features, each bowl is unique and completely customizable.
However, I will insert some photos of already made works to release the best "catalog" to facilitate in case you want to know us better or order an item.
Notice: the various models in the photos cannot be sold since they are private commissioned creations.
To book one, or more bowls, remember to inform us in adequate advance (especially if it is a gift) because the lapse required to complete the bowl is about 30 days (excluding shipping).
Shipping requires 3 working days or if you prefer, by agreement, a working day (the cost changes).
PROCESSING
Each bowl is made employing a lathe and then it is hand forged.
Subsequently, when it reaches the right consistency (depending on the season and on the climate), I draw the name and the two side designs with the same material and attach them with more liquid clay to get a single body.
Notice: we don’t use glue!
Afterwards I finish the bowl details I clean and paint it.
When the bowl is completely dry it is cooked in the oven for about 10 hours at a temperature that is higher than 1000 centigrade.
We use special ovens, obviously not the ordinary kitchen oven.
As soon as the oven reaches the "required" temperature (after several hours), I open it and take out the bowl.
Before the second and last cooking, I dip the bowl into crystalline liquids to get a glass coat on it.
The crystalline compound gives a unique special glossy and shiny effect. Crystalline process is not only used to add an aesthetic element.The advantage is to completely isolate every food or water from the underlying ceramic (which, otherwise, would absorb everything) and to wash it easily.
WHY CHOOSE A CERAMIC BOWL
Ceramic is the most natural, healthy and hygienic material.
The fact that that we eat in ceramic dishes is not a surprise. More and more often, a lot of people cook in ceramic pots (although stainless steel is always their favorite, but the food cooked in ceramics takes on a "different" taste ... try it!).
Ceramic bowls are easily washable and after every washing, they shine newly perfect without food traces.
Referring to water, ceramics keep water fresher for long in a natural way.
A final important element to consider is, fundamental in my opinion, for those who use colloidal silver to treat their dog naturally, that colloidal silver matches well with healthy materials.
After having considered all that, we can say that the only "drawback" of ceramics is that if it falls, it breaks; but we have to remember that our bowls are made to lay on the ground.
We make thick bowls, with rounded - not sharp- edges and therefore they are quite strong.
The question I ask to those who tell me that they break, is: "How many plates and glasses do we break in a day?"
Moreover, their resistance and their specific weight allows the bowls to slide away much less (in some cases, they are very stable) while our four legs eat.
In case of sliding inconveniences an underbowl plate with raised edges or with a fabric rug helps.
